ORDINANCE NO. 2001-8- 43 9�
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY BETWEEN THE KENTUCKY
LEAGUE OF CITIES AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR A MATCHING SAFETY
AND LIABILITY GRANT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary between the Kentucky League of Cities and the City of Paducah for
a Matching Safety and Liability Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 for the Public Works
Department. The City will provide matching funds in the amount of $6,562.00 for this
proj ect.
SECTION 2. Account No. 040-8821-536-2307 — EQ 0006 will be
assigned to this grant.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
