FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF CLOTHING ITEMS FOR MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPART- MENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of United Tailors, Inc. for the sale to the City of clothing to be used by members of the Police Department be accepted, and as follows: "Ike" Jackets $34.50 each Uniform Coats 44.50 each Winter Trousers 18.25 each Summer Trousers 15.45 each Shirts -Summer (white or blue) Simpson Soulette 4.40 each It " (Tropical) 7.25 each Shirts -Winter (white or blue) Simpson Soulette 4.75 each it " (Tropical) 7.95.each (Sgt. Chevrons $1.00 per shirt extra) Caps -Patrolmen (Winter or Summer) 5.25 each Caps -Officers (Winter or Summer) 5.75 each Ties; Black 1.50 each Shoes 13.95 each Holsters 7.50 each All items are to be made to the specifications as set out in the Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 31, 1967 and delivery to be made approximately 6 - 8 weeks after receipt of order. All prices being F.O.B. Louisville, Kentucky. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase of items set out in Section 1 at times and in quantities as needed for the period of one year from date of such contract. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) weep for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
