AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY TO EASTERN
KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY THE SUM OF $1,059.00 FOR TUITION AND FEES FOR
ENROLLMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE COLLEGE
LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized
to pay to the Eastern Kentucky University the sum of $1,059.00 for
enrollment of twenty-four (24) members of the Paducah Police Department
in the College Law Enforcement Program offered by Eastern Kentucky
University. Said sum is to be the full amount for tuition and fees
for thirteen (13) officers to be enrolled in the full course and eleven
(11) officers to be enrolled in a.'three (3) hour course.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
