PALMIER AND SOWELL STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That, sub;ect to the condition set forth in
Section 2 below, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closinp of a street known as Herzop Street, which
street is between Palmer and Sowell Streets in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky.
SECTION 2. That as a condition for the authorizing of the
closing of the street described in Section 1, and as a condition
precedent to the institution of the action authorized in Section 3
hereof, Georpe E. Herzog will dedicate to the City of Paducah and
widen, or cause to he dedicated to the City of Paducah and cause
to be widened, the alley in the hlocm between what has heretofore
been knovin as Herzop Street and Thurman Street to a width of not
less than twenty (20) feet.
SECTION 3. That upon the performance of the condition set out
in Section 2, the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and pros-
ecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes,
an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a .judpment ordering the
closing of the street described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION L. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
