AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) CRAWLER TYPE LOADER FOR USE
IN LAND FILL OPERATIONS, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Whayne Supply Company in the sum of $28,525.00, less $5,850.00
for trade-in of one (1) 1958 Model TD 14A International tractor,
equipped with Bull -Clam, metal cab, heater and windshield wipers,
making a net total of $22,675.00, for the sale to the City of
one (1) Caterpillar crawler type loader for use in land fill
operations, said equipment being a current model 955K, 1967,
havinr, the specifications as set out in the resolution adopted
January 17, 1967 by the Board of Commissioners of said City
authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and con-
tained in the bid of Uhavne Supply Company dated February 6, 1967.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for said loader as set out in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
