HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 763, Ordinance Number 68-10-126763 ORDINANCE NO. 68-10-126 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MONROE STREET BETWEEN 13TH AND 14TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on October 16, 1968, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON MONROE STREET BETWEEN 13TH AND 14TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential. Zone to B-3 General Business Zone: Beginning in the center line of Monroe Street 111 feet west of the intersection of the center line of Monroe Street with the center line of 13th Street; thence in a westerly direction along and with the center line of Monroe Street a distance of 81 feet to a point; thence at right angl.es and in a northerly direction a distance of 206.575 feet to a point in the center line of a 17.15 foot alley, said line running along and with the westerly lot line of Home Ice Co. Inc.; thence at right angles and in an easterly direction along and with the center line of said alley a distance of 81 feet; thence at right angles and in a southerly direction a distance of 206.575 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
