HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 730, Ordinance Number 68-9-113e ORDINANCE NO. 68-9-113 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF ROSETTA FULLER CHANDLER AND HUSBAND, RICHARD CHANDLER, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 915 NORTH 7TH STREET THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $400.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Rosetta Fuller Chandler and husband, Richard Chandler, in the smount of $400.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain property therein be accepted, said property being described as follows: Lot No. 36 in Block No. 21, Addition "F" fronting 48 feet on south side of 7th Street between Boyd Street and Finley Street and as shown on page 21 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the office of the City Engineer. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $400.00 to the City Treasurer by the aforesaid Rosetta Fuller Chandler and husband, Richard Chandler, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to them all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
