ORDINANCE NO. 68-9-112
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF LEONARD SIMON TO PURCHASE
THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY AT 933 BURNETT STREET
THEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $200.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Leonard Simon in the amount of
$200.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain
property therein be accepted, said property being described as follows:
Known as 933 Burnett Street, fronting
75 feet on the west side of same, being
75 feet north of 10th Street, running
back 40 feet with an alley, and as shown
on page 38 of Block Map Book No. 3 in
the office of the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $200.00 to the City
Treasurer by the aforesaid Leonard Simon, the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to convey to him all the right,
title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1
hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall
contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of
facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
