A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MAKING OF RELOCATION PAYMENTS UNDER THE
OAKLAWN CONCENTRATED CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM, PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS
UNDER WHICH RELOCATION PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE, AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE
RENTAL STATISTICS AND PAYMENT SCHEDULES
WHEREAS an application for code enforcement grant under Section 117
of the Housing Act of 1949 has been approved for the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, under the name of Oaklawn Code Enforcement Area Code Enforcement
Grant, Project No. Ky. E-1, hereinafter called "Project", and
WHEREAS it is estimated that twenty-eight families within the
project area will require relocation to other housing, and
WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
hereinafter called "Board" realizes and acknowledges that it has an
obligation to assure decent, safe and sanitary housing for any displaced
persons resulting from the "project" in accordance with the regulations
of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
WHEREAS Section CE100 of the said project application, which
section prescribed policies, procedures, conditions and amounts for
relocation payments, was heretofore submitted at the request of the
"Board" on October 6, 1967, and has now been reviewed, considered and
reapproved by this Board.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the making of relocation payments for displacees
within the project area as required by Federal law, the regulations of the
Department of Housing and Urban Development and as provided for in Section
CE -100 of the City's application for the project grant are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the conditions under which relocation payments
will be made as provided for in Section CE -100 of the City's application
we I for the project grant are hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. That the Fixed Relocation Payment Schedule, Form
HUD=6142, as completed, a copy of which is attached hereto, is approved
and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 4. That the Schedule of Annual Gross Rentals for Standard
Housing in -Locality, Ford HUD=6148, as completed, a copy of which is
attached hereto, is approved and incorporated herein by reference.

SECTION 5. That in the event any agency or board is created by
the City to administer the "Project", any such agency or board will be
bound from its creation by the policies adopted herein.
SECTION 6. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
