ANTHONY JOHNSTON AND ASSOCIATES OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO PREPARE PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CENTRAL FIRE STATION FOR SAID CITY; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SUCH EMPLOYMENT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky employ the services of G. Anthony Johnston and Associates of said city for the preparation of plans for the construction of a new central Fire Station for said City. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into a contract for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky with G. Anthony Johnston and Associates, of said city, for the purposes stated in Section l hereof, such contract being the standard form of agreement between Owner and Architect known as the 1958 Edition A.I.A. Document No. B-131, a copy of which form is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference; the amount of compensation to be provided for in said contract to be paid by said City to said architect shall be six percent (6/) of the project construction cost, and for any extra services as defined in said contract and specifically authorized by the City two (2) times the direct personnel expense including Principals' time at $10.00 per hour. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
