HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 680, Ordinance Number 68-7-94680 ORDINANCE NO. 68-7-94 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF VASSEUR TRACTOR & IMPLEMENT COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NEW TRACTOR FOR USE IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Vasseur Tractor & Implement Company in the sum of $3,173.95 for the sale to the City of one new Ford tractor, all purpose diesel, Model 31013C having the specifications as set out in the Resolution adopted on June 11, 1968 by the Board of Commissioners of the City, authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and contained in the bid of Vasseur Tractor & Implement Company dated June 24, 1968. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said tractor as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
