HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 655, Ordinance Number 68-7-84G55 V1 ORDINANCE NO. 68-7-84 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A CITY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ADMINISTER AND ENFORCE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PROVISIONS OF KRS 243.010 TO 243.710; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF THE CITY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE ADMINISTRATOR; FIXING THE AMOUNT OF HIS COMPENSATION, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON JANUARY 16, 1951, AND AMENDED ON DECEMBER 13, 1966 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 4 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 16, 1951, and amended on December 13, 1966, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 4. The person appointed as the City Alcoholic Beverage Administrator for the City of Paducah shall be paid for his services a base salary of $455.00 per month, said salary to be paid to him at the 4' same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other employees of the city are paid. The said Alcoholic Beverage Administrator shall be paid at the rate of $455.00 per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $465.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $475.00 per month; at the expiration of two years $485.00 per month and at the expiration of three years $495.00 per month, such increases to be made upon recommendation of the City Manager." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption, and the salary increase provided for herein shall be retroactive to July 1, 1968.
