ORDINANCE NO. 68-5-73
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF ROY T. SPANN, CHARLES E.
SPANN, LEON C. SPANN AND GLADYS S. McCARLEY TO PURCHASE PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 2509 BRIDGE STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OWNED
BY THE CITY, FOR THE SUM OF $111.32, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Roy T. Spann, Sharles E. Spann,
Leon C. Spann and Gladys S. McCarley, in the amount of $111.32 to
purchase certain property owned by the City and known as 2509 Bridge
Street, be accepted, said property being described as follows:
Being the property at 2509 Bridge Street fronting
39 feet on the south side of said street and as
shown on page 92 of Block Map Book No. 6 in the
office of the City Engineer.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, by R. H. Overstreet, Acting
Treasurer, by deed dated April 12, 1968, and of
record in Deed Book qna , page in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $111.32 to the City
Treasurer by the aforesaid Roy T. Spann, Charles E. Spann, Leon C.
Spann and Gladys S. McCarley, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to convey to them the property described in
Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quit -claim only,
shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any
state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
