ORDINANCE NO. 68-5-62
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN ALLEY IN THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY 7TH
STREET, WASHINGTON STREET, 8TH STREET AND CLARK STREET IN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of the following described alley in the City of
Paducah Downtown Civic Center area:
The alley in the block bounded by Seventh Street,
Washington Street, Eighth Street and Clark Street;
said alley extending from the south line of Wash-
ington Street to the north line of Clark Street,
and running parallel with Seventh Street and Eighth
Street.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, directed and empowered
to institute and prosecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of the Kentucky
Revised Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a
judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
