HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 581, Ordinance Number 68-5-53ORDINANCE NO. 68-5-53 Mayor Passed by the Board of Commissioners May 14, 1968 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, May 14, 1968 to AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-A OF THE "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES' CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COM- MISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947, AND AMENDED ON DECEMBER 13, 1966 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 7-A of the "Appointive Employees' Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Com- missioners on December 2, 1947, and amended on December 13, 1966, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained, so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 7-A. There is hereby created and authorized the following positions in the office of the City Assessor, which office Iv% was formerly in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted, shall be as follows: Position Base Monthly Salary Assessor $600.00 Evaluation Clerk 365.00 Clerk -typist No. 1 290.00 The Clerk -typist No. 1 shall be paid at the rate of $290.00 per month for the first six months of employment; at the expiration of six months $300.00 per month; at the expiration of one year $310.00 per month; and at the expiration of two years $320.00 per month,such increas( be made upon recommendation of the City Manager." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
