A RESOLUTION AMENDING A RESOLUTION ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION
OF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH APPROVING THE URBAN
RENEWAL PLAN AND THE FEASIBILITY.OF RELOCATION FOR PROJECT NO. KY. R-30"
WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON OCTOBER 28, 1965
AND AMENDED ON NOVEMBER 9, 1965 AND AUGUST 8, 1967
WHEREAS on October 28, 1965, the Board of Commissioners, by
the adoption of the Resolution referred to above, approve the Urban
Renewal Plan and the Feasibility of Relocation for Project No.
KY. R-30, and
WHEREAS said plan consists of test and maps; and the Land Use
Plan, U.R.P. Map No. 2 is a part of the Urban Renewal Plan and said
map designates Parcel 3, Block 2 for redevelopment as commercial use,
and
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and consistent with the sound
needs of the community to modify the land use of Parcel 3, Block 2 from
commercial use to public use and that the same is in the best interest
and welfare of the public, and
WHEREAS, said modification is in conformity with KRS Chapter 99
and more particularly ERS 99.460, and
WHEREAS said modification was approved by a resolution adopted
by the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency on January 11, 1968,
and approved by the Paducah Planning Commission on February 21, 1968,
Now Therefore, be it resolved by the Board of Commissioners
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Urban Renewal Plan, Land Use Plan and
U. R. P. Map No. 2 be modified to designate Parcel 3, Block 2 as public
use.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
