ORDINANCE NO. 68-2-23
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AN ALLEY SITUATED IN BLOCK 27 OF THE
CALDWELL-MALLORY DIVISION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, EXTENDING FROM
PARK AVENUE TOWARD JOE CLIFTON DRIVE A DISTANCE OF 239.8 FEET
AS MEASURED ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID ALLEY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of an alley in the City of Paducah, Kentucky
described as follows:
A 20 foot alleyway extending 239.8 feet
(as measured along the south line thereof!;
from the southerly line of Park Avenue in
a southwesterly direction toward the
easterly line of Joe Clifton Drive, and
being located in Block 27 as shown by the
Plat of the Caldwell -Mallory Division
recorded in Plat Book "A", page 289
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute
and prosecute pursuant to Section 94.360 of the Kentucky Revised
Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment
ordering the closing of the alley described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
