AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, CONVEYING LOT NO. 11,
BLOCK NO. 12, IN THE WHITTEMORE AND WALTERS WEST END ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF PADUeAH
WHEREAS, on November 28, 1944, the City obtained a Commissioner's
deed to Lot No. 11, Block No. 12, in the Whittemore and Walters West
End Addition to the City of Paducah, and
WHEREAS, the City has received an offer from W. H. Yancy for the
purchase of said lot for the total sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk, be, and they are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute a deed to W. H. Yancy conveying the
following described land situated in said City:
Being Lot No. 11, Block No. 12, Whittemore and
Walters West End Addition as shown from Plat Book A,
pages 56 and 57 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's
office.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah by
Commissioner's deed dated November 28, 1944', of record
in Commissioner's Deed Book 12, page 213, McCracken
County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. The deed of conveyance authorized in Section 1 hereof
shall contain no covenant of warranty and shall be subject to any
state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
