AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HANNAN SUPPLY COMPANY, INC.
TO FURNISH PIPE AND ACCESSORIES TO BE USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SUCH PIPE AND ACCESSORIES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Hannan Supply Company, Inc. to furnish the City with pipe and
accessories to be used in the construction of a sanitary sewer extension
in the following approximate quantities and under the following terms
and conditions:

17 8 x 6 Wyes 6.00 each
17 6" 90 deg ells 3.40 each
17 6" clay stoppers .70 each
Unglazed ASTM C-200, X -Strength clay pipe P.V.C. joints C425 Type 2
Merchandise shall be f.o.b. job site and payable 2/ 10 days,
30 days net.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into and execute a
contract for the purchase of pipe and accessories as herein set out, and
to purchase the approximate amount indicated, more or less, as will best
meet the needs of the City in constructing said sewer extension.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full
force and effect ten days thereafter.
