HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 388, No Ordinance Number388 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF WASHINGTON STREET BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND 5TH STREET; THE WEST SIDE OF 4TH STREET BETWEEN WASHINGTON STREET AND CLARK STREET, AND THE NORTH SIDE OF CLARK STREET BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND 5TH STREET; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON MARCH .9, 1965 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance having the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on March 9, 1965, be, and the same is hereby amended, so that said section as amended shall read as follows: "SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or corporation to park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind on the south side of Washington street between 4th Street and 5th Street; the west side of 4th Street between Washington Street and Clark Street, and the north side of Clark Swreet between 4th Street and 5th Street for a longer period than two (2) hours between the hours of 8 o'clock A.M. and 5 o'clock p.m. on any day except Sunday". SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
