AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1968 CHEVROLET PANEL TRUCK,
MODEL CE10905 FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE
SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. in the sum of $2,593.65, less
$450.00 for trade-in of one (1) 1965 Chevrolet Panel Truck, making
a net total of $2,143.65, for the sale to the City of one (1) new
1968 Chevrolet Panel Truck, Model CE10905, having the specifications
as set out in the Resolution adopted September 13, 1967 by the Board
of Commissioners of said City authorizing advertisement for bids for
such equipment, and contained in the bid of said Wilson Chevrolet -
Cadillac, Inc. dated September 29, 1967.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for said vehicle as set out in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
