FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF NINE (9) 1968 FORD CUSTOM FOUR -DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILES FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. in the sum of $30,151.66, less $20,352.66 for trade-in of nine (9) police cars Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 22 and 29 making a net total of $9,799.00 for the sale to the City of Nine (9) new 1968 Ford Custom Four -door Sedans, having the specifications as set out in the resolution adopted September 13, 1967 by the Board of Commissioners of said City authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and contained in the bid,of said.,Allan.Rhodes,.Inc. . dated September 29, 1967. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said vehicles as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
