AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF GEORGE RYAN COMPANY, INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $765,009.40 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION`OF CONTRACT NO. 2 -
RELIEF SEWERS, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of George Ryan Company, Inc. in the amount of $765,009.40 for the
construction of Contract No. 2 - Relief Sewers, subject to all the
terms and conditions contained in the documents on which said bidder
based its bid for the construction.
SECTION 2. Acceptance of the bid as set out in Section 1
hereof shall be conditioned upon the proper execution of all Contract
Documents by said bidder.
SECTION 3.. Upon approval by the Corporation Counsel of all
Bonds and Contract Documents in connection herewith, the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of said City.
SECTION 4. 'This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
