HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 342, No Ordinance Number342 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING ANSPACHER AVENUE IN PADUCAH,MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: 00 SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a certain street known as Anspacher Avenue in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the northerly property line of 8th Street, said beginning point being located in a westerly direction and 160.0 feet fron the northwest intersection of the property linesof 8th Street and Burnett Street; thence in a Northerly direction for a distance of 100.0 feet to a point in the southerly property line of a 30 -foot public alley; thence with an interior angle of 86002' and in a westerly direction and along the said southerly property line of the 30 -foot public alley for a distance of 40.10 feet to a point; thence with an interior angle of 93058' and in a southerly direction for a distance of 100.0 feet to a point in the northerly property line of 8th Street; thence with an interior angle of 86002' and in an easterly direction and along the said northerly property line of 8th Street for a distance of 40.10 feet to the point of beginning. (The first call and last call in the above descrip- tion makes an interior angle of 93658'). SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and . empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of Kentucky Revised Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street described in Section 1 hereof.
