HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 320, No Ordinance Number320 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 4 LITTLE'S ADDITION, AND LYING BETWEEN BLOW AVENUE AND LITTLE AVENUE WHICH EXTENDS NORTH FROM PAXTON STREET TOWARD FULTON STREET 300 FEET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY-- SECTION ENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of a certain portion of an alley in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, described as follows: All that portion of a 16.5 foot alley in Block 4, Little's Addition recorded in Plat Book "A", page 226, 227, McCracken County Court Clerk's office, lying between Blow Avenue and, Little Avenue, which extends north from Paxton Street toward Fulton Street 300 feet. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute, pursuant to Section 94.360 of Kentucky Revised Statutes, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the portion of the alley described in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
