SPEARS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY KNOWN AS LOT NO. 4 IN BLOCK NO. 18 OF O'BRYAN'S SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND FRONTING 40 FEET ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BARNETT STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE FOR THE SAME ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of J. R. Spears in the amount of $200.00 for the purchase of certain property owned by the City of Paducah, Kentucky be accepted said property being bounded and described as follows, to -wit: Being Lot No. 4 in Block No. 18 in what is known as O'Bryan's Second Addition to Paducah, Kentucky and fronting 40 feet on the south side of Norton Street (now Barnett Street) and extending back at uniform width 120 feet to an alley. Being the same property conveyed to the City of Paducah by deed dated December 4, 1957, of record in Deed Book 488, page 687, McCracken County Court Clerk's Office. SECTION 2. There shall be excepted from and reserved with this conveyance an easement for a drainage ditch 20 feet in width, as said ditch is presently located toward the west line of said lot. SECTION 3. On receipt of the sum of $200.00 from J. R. Spears by the senior treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed to the said J. R. Spears with only such warranty as permitted by law, and subject to any state of facts that might be shown by a current and accurate survey. SECTION 4.
