HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 268, No Ordinance Number268 J AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE'PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF JONES STREET BETWEEN 10TH AND 11TH STREETS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: Who, SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on August 2, 1967, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF JONES STREET BETWEEN 10TH AND 11TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential Zone to M-1 General Industrial Zone: Beginning at a point at the intersection of South 10th Street center line and Jones Street center line, in a southeasterly direction following said center line of South 10th Street, 190 feet more or less to -a point of intersection with center line of a 20 foot alley; thence in a southwesterly direction following the center line of said alley, 235 feet more or less to a point of inter- section with another 20 foot alley; thence in.a north- westerly direction following said alley center line, 190 feet more or less to a point of intersection with said alley and Jones Street center line; thence in a north- easterly direction following center line of Jones Street to the point of beginning with center line of South 10th street. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps referred to in Section 14 thereof, be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect an other section, Y paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
