AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELTLINE ELECTRIC
COMPANY INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $192,509.00 FOR FLOOD CONTROL
STATION #5 AND #6 MOTOR CONTROL CENTER UPGRADES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Beltline Electric
Company Inc. in the amount of $192,509.00 for Flood Control Stations #5 and #6 motor
control center upgrades, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Beltline Electric
Company Inc. of June 28, 2001.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Beltline Line Electric Company Inc. for Flood Control Stations #5 and #6 motor control
upgrades, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-
3305-532-2307-DR0004.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
