HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 158, No Resolution NumberA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AN AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY, GRANTING PERMISSION TO SAID CITY TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A CERTAIN CONCRETE SEWER PIPE LINE UNDER THE TRACKS AND PROPERTY OF SAID RAILROAD COMPANY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to execute an agreement with the Illinois Central Railroad Company granting permission to the`City to construct and maintain a 36 inch reinforced Class IV concrete pipe storm sewer pipe line across and underneath the waylands and tracks of the Railroad Company in a 66 inch 12 gauge steel liner plate casing pipe, having a minimum section modulus of 0.0478 inch 3/inch of width beneath one track at a point 420 feet north of Mile Post 225 near Paducah, Kentucky. To be installed by tunneling, and the same shall be gravity flow, and said grant of permission therefor to be in accordance with and subject to all the terms and conditions of said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and dated February 28, 1967, all of the terms, conditions and provisions of said agreement being hereby approved and ratified. SECTION 2. A certified copy of this Resolution shall be trans- mitted to Illinois Central Railroad Company. SECTION 3, This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
