"AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, CREATING POSITIONS THEREIN AND FIXING
SALARIES THEREOF", WHICH SECTION 1-A WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS ON MAY 11, 1965 AND AMENDED ON JUNE 15, 1965
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1-A of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which Section 1-A was adopted by the Board of
Commissioners on May 11, 1965 and amended on June 15, 1965, be, and
the same is hereby further amended and reordained so that said section
1-A as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1-A. That the seasonal and temporary employees referred
to in Section 1 hereof be divided into certain classes as to compensation
for the various employment thereof by motions adopted by the Board of
Commissioners, which classes and compensation therefor are as follows:
Position Base Pay
Recreation Specialist "A" $6.00 Per session
Recreation Specialist "B" 4.00 Per session
Recreation Specialist "C" 12.00 Per 1/2 day
Recreation Specialist "D" 1.85 Per hour
Recreation Specialist "E" 1.60 Per hour
Pool Manager
Assistant Pool Manager
Ticket Seller
Playground Supervisor
Playground Leader
po Lifeguard Captain
Lifeguard
Wading Pool Supervisor
Junior Lifeguard
Basketroom Attendent
Monthly Salary

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and shall be retroactive to May 1, 1967.
