ORDINANCE NO. 69-12-272
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JAMES R. REEVES TO PURCHASE
THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN LOTS NOS. 14 AND 15 IN BLOCK 6
OF TERRELL'S WOODLAWN ADDITION FOR THE SUM OF $200.00, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of James R. Reeves in the amount of
$200.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain
property therein, be accepted, said property being described as
follows:
Lots 14 and 15 in Block 6 of Terrell's
Woodlawn Addition, situated on the north
side of Oak Street between Cole Street and
Olive Street and as shown on page 33 of Block
Map Book No. 3 in the office of the City
Engineer.
Being the same property conveyed to the City of
Paducah by Ben C. LeRoy, Treasurer (Hattie
Hudson property) by deed dated April 9, 1969,
and of record in Deed Book 508, page 63 in the
McCracken County Court Clerk's office.
SECTION 2. .Upon payment of the sum of $200.00 to the City Treasurer,
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey.to
James R. Reeves all right, title and interest of the City in the property
described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be
quit claim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be
subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
