HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 1169, Ordinance Number 69-12-2711169 !__� ORDINANCE NO. 69-12-271 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON SOUTH 16TH STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on December 17, 1969, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON SOUTH 16TH STREET:, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 Two -Family Residential Zone to B-3 General Business Zone: Beginning at a point of intersection of the center line of the new 25 foot public alley as dedicated and recorded in Plat Book G, page 428, with the center line of South 16th Street, said beginning point also being the northeast corner of the B-3 Zone; thence in a southerly direction and along the center line of South 16th Street for a distance of 591.3 feet to the point of intersection of the center line of 16th Street with the inter- section of the center line of 16th Street as it runs in a north- westerly direction; thenSe in a northwesterly direction and along the center line of 16th Street for a distance of 294.57 feet to its intersection with the center line of the future extension of 16th Street; thence in a northerly direction and along the center line of the future extension of 16th Street for a distance of 378.86 feet to its point of intersection with the center line of the new 25 foot public alley, same being the existing southwest corner of the present B-3 zone; thence in an easterly direction and along the center line of a new 25 foot public alley and the southerly line of the present B-3 zone for a distance of 206.36 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 1170 SECTION 5.
