HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 1138, Ordinance Number 69-11-2621138 / ORDINANCE NO. 69-11-262 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND NAMING NEW STREETS HERETOFORE UNNAMED WHEREAS the City of Paducah has accepted the dedication of two new unnamed streets within the project area of Ky. 6-8, Site A, (Pierce Lackey Court), and WHEREAS one street makes a semi -circle connecting at one end with Beiderman Street and the other end with South 30th Street, and WHEREAS it is desired to change the name of Beiderman Street and South 30th Street from the west line of Mississippi Street to include the entire semi -circle in one name, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the street beginning at the west property line of Mississippi Street at Beiderman Street and continuing westerly and northerly and easterly through and out of the property known as Pierce Lackey Court and owned by the City of Paducah Municipal Housing Commission and which street continues to the west property line of Mississippi Street at South 30th Street, be'named, and it shall hereafter be known as Cherry Circle. SECTION 2. That the new street beginning at the south property line of South 28th Street and South 24th Street and continuing thence in a southerly direction to the north property line of Cherry Circle, be named, and it shall hereafter be known as Marquess Drive. SECTION 3.
