ORDINANCE NO. 69-11-259
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 1968 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AS
PREPARED BY NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS it is the desire, intent and purpose of the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to adopt, by reference,
the aforesaid code, and
WHEREAS the notice required by the Kentucky Revised Statutes
was published in the Paducah Sun -Democrat, a newspaper published in and
of general circulation in the City of Paducah on November 4, 1969,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the 1968 National Electrical Code as prepared
by National Fire Protection Association is hereby adopted by reference
and is made a part of the public records of the City by this ordinance.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith, and specifically the previous ordinance dated December 28,
1965 adopting the 1965 National Electrical Code, are to the extent of
such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and publication.
