AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF KENTUCKY
LEAGUE OF CITIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $812,307.00 FOR WORKERS'
COMPENSATION, PROPERTY AND LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City accepts the proposal of Kentucky League of Cities
in the total amount of $812,307..00 for Worker's Compensation, Property and Liability
Insurance for the City of Paducah for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2002, for the following
policies:
Workers' Compensation $316,021.00
Property Insurance
52,901.00
General Liability
126,578.00
Public Officials
51,145.00
Law Enforcement Liability
73,949.00
Auto Liability & Phy. Dam.
191,713.00
Total
$812,307.00
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Kentucky League of Cities for services authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Insurance Fund 072.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
