ORDINANCE NO. 69-10-257
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF
EQUALIZING THE ASSESSMENTS OF PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSES OF TAXATION
IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF
SAID BOARD, OFFICE HOURS AND TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING", WHICH WAS
ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON OCTOBER 19, 1957
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of an ordinance having the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
October 19, 1957, be amended so that said Section 3 shall hereafter
provide as follows:
"SECTION 3. Each member of said board shall be paid the sum
of $15.00 per day while in the performance of his duties, and each
shall perform such duties and have such powers as are now granted by
Statute to boards of equalization in cities of the second class in
Kentucky."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
fromand after its adoption.
