KENTUCKY, APPROVING AND CONCURRING IN A RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, RESPECTING APPROVAL
OF AN URBAN RENEWAL PLAN -1969 FOR PROGRAM NO. KY. A-2
WHEREAS, in connection with an application of the Urban Renewal and
Community Development Agency of Paducah, Kentucky (Local Public Agency) to
the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for financial assistance under
Title I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, to carry out a Neighborhood
Development Program (Program), the Local Public Agency has prepared an
Urban Renewal Plan for the urban renewal areas involved in such application;
and
WHEREAS, a copy of said Urban Renewal Plan entitled "Urban Renewal
Plan 1969", has been examined by the members of this Commission; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable and in the interest of the general
welfare of the community that this Board approve said Urban Renewal Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
1. That "Urban Renewal Plan 1969", prepared by the Urban Renewal and
Community Development Agency of Paducah, Kentucky is hereby in all respects
approved.
2. The resolution of the Local Public Agency entitled A Resolution
Approving An Urban Renewal Plan And Conditions Under Which Relocation Payments
Will Be Made For Program No. KY A-2 is hereby concurred in and approved.
3. That this Board shall take such actions as are necessary and
desirable to effectively implement and carry out said Urban Renewal Plan 1969
in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications thereof.
4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
