A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, APPROVING AND CONCURRING IN A RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, APPROVING A
PROGRAM AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR A
TEMPORARY LOAN, DEFINITIVE LOAN, AND A CAPITAL GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING
NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM NO. KY A-2
WHEREAS, under Title I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended and sup-
plemented, the United States of America (herein called the "Government") has
tendered to the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency of Paducah,
Kentucky (herein called the "Local Public Agency") a contract, hereinafter
mentioned, to make a Program Temporary Loan, Definitive Loan, and a Capital
Grant to the Local Public Agency to aid in financing a Neighborhood
Development Program, designated Program No. KY A-2, in the urban renewal area
or areas described therein; and
WHEREAS, the Local Public Agency has given due consideration to said
contract; and
WHEREAS, the Local Public Agency is duly authorized, under and pursua
to the Constitution and laws of Kentucky, to undertake and carry our said
Program and execute said contract and has adopted a resolution approving
said Program and providing for the execution of such contract; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
has determined that it is desirable to approve and concur in said resolution
adopted by the Local Public Agency;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Said Commission hereby approves and concurs in a resolutior
of the Local Public Agency approving and authorizing the execution of a
proposed contract between the United States of America and said agency
designated "Loan and Capital Grant Contract", Funding Agreement No.

through/the Government would make a Program Temporary Loan, a Definitive Loan
and Capital Grant under Title I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended and
supplemented, to said Local Public Agency to aid in financing designated
Project No. KY. A-2, situated in the city of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. The Commission shall take such actions and do such things a
are necessary or desirable in carrying out the proposed Program pursuant to th

aforesaid "Loan and Capital Grant Contract", including but not limited
to, the execution of an appropriate cooperation agreement between this
Commission and said Local Public Agency.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
