ORDINANCE NO. 69-8-242
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC.
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE REFUSE PACKER AND TRUCK FOR USE IN THE REFUSE
DIVISION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. in the sum of $10,899.00, without any
trade-in, for the sale to the City of one (1) new 1969 Chevrolet truck
Model TE61803 with Garwood Model LP716 Refuse Packer Body, having the
specifications as set out in the bid for said equipment submitted by
Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. on July 25, 1969, which complies with
the resolution authorizing the request for such bids, passed by the
Board of Commissioners on July 8, 1969.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said vehicle and body as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
