HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 1088, Ordinance Number 69-8-2411088 % ORDINANCE NO. 69-8-241 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A 20 FOOT ALLEY IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, WHICH ALLEY EXTENDS BETWEEN JONES AND NORTON STREETS AND RUNS PARALLEL TO 10TH AND 11TH STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CORPORATION COJNSEL TO INSTITUTE A SUIT IN THE MCCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAVING SAID ALLEY LEGALLY -CLOSED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby authorize the closing of the following alley in the City of Paducah, Kentucky: All that portion of a 20 foot alley extending from and between Jones Street and Norton Street and lyign between and parallel to South 10th Street and South 11th Street. SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered and directed to institute a suit in the McCracken Circuit Court for a decree ordering the closing of the above set out alley pursuant to the provisions of KRS 94.360. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
