RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE PADUCAH AREA
PUBLIC LIBRARY TO ADVERTISE FOR SALE THE LIBRARY PROPERTY AT NINTH
AND BROADWAY IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND DECLARING SUCH PROPERTY TO
BE SURPLUS," WHICH RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COM-
MISSIONERS ON MAY 13, 1969
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of a Resolution bearing the title
quoted above be amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, finds that the library property hereinafter
described in Section 2 is surplus to theneeds of the library and
that it is no longer needed for library function and use, or other
governmental purposes, and that the property will be of greater
benefit to the city and the library board if sold, and the same
should be sold to provide funds for other library purposes."
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
