FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF THE CITY'S REQUIREMENTS OF CLASS I, TYPE B, BITUMINOUS CONCRETE FOR THE YEAR 1969, IN AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO APPROXIMATELY 5,000 TONS TO BE USED IN STREET CONSTRUCTION, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Roads, Inc. in the amount of $4.23 per ton f.o.b. plant site, two miles from the city limits of Paducah on the Clarks River Road, for sale to the City of approximately 5,000 tons of Class I, Type B, bituminous concrete for the year 1969, having substantially the specifications as set out in a resolution adopted on May 27, 1969 by the Board of Com- missioners of the City authorizing advertisement for bids for such material, and contained in the bid of Roads, Inc. dated June 12, 1969. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said bituminous concrete as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter. 7✓. >2,2- Alice 77cAlice H.
