ORDINANCE NO. 69-6-222
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH BRICK AND SUPPLY
COMPANY, INC. FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF MANHOLE CASTINGS AND STEPS
TO BE USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS
AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Paducah Brick & Supply Company, Inc. for sale to the City of
manhole castings and steps as follows:
10 MH-RCR 718, manhole frames and cover $55.00 each
50 Manhole steps 1.50 each
Plus 5% Sales Tax
Less 29% cash discount 10th. prox.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for said material as set out in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
