HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 1028, No Ordinance Number1028 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ROCKWELL MANUFACTURING COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF 645 AUTOMATIC PARKING METERS, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Rockwell Manufacturing Company in the sum of $42,570.00, less trade-ins and discounts for an approximate total of $35,475.00, for the sale to the City of 645 Rockwell Model "N" Automatic Parking Meters, having sub- stantially the specifications set out in the resolution adopted May 13, 1969, by the Board of Commissioners of the City authorizing advertisement for bids for such equipment, and contained in the bid of Rockwell Manufacturing Company dated May 21, 1969. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for said parking meters as set out in Section 1 hereof, provided, however, that the payment plan shall be as prescribed in numbered paragraph 4 of the proposed payment plans as set forth on page 2 of the said offer, and provided further that the income for payment of the parking meters shall be taken from the on -street parking meters only and the excess revenue shall be based on revenue from on -street parking only. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
