HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 1019, Ordinance Number 69-6-2071019 ORDINANCE NO. 69-6-207 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST KENTUCKY PAVING COMPANY FOR THE SURFACING OF A PORTION OF A PARKING LOT ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER boo OF KENTUCKY AVENUE AND FOURTH STREET, COVERING AN AREA OF APPROXIMATELY 173.25 x 202.25 FEET, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of West Kentucky Paving Company in the sum of $7.14 per ton for approximately 430 tons for the surfacing of a portion of a parking lot on the southeast corner of Kentucky Avenue and Fourth Street, containing an area of approximately 173.25 x 202.25 feet, said bid having substantially the specifications set out in a resolution adopted on May 6, 1969 by the Board of Commissioners of the City, authorizing advertisement for bids for such surfacing and contained in the bid of West Kentucky Paving Company dated May 15, 1969. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for said surfacing as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
