HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 16, Page 1011, Ordinance Number 69-5-204ORDINANCE NO. 69-5-204 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF ARCHIE BENBERRY AND WIFE, DORIS BENBERRY, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 14TH STREET, EAST OF REED AVENUE, FOR THE SUM OF $100.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the offer of Archie Benberry and wife, Doris Benberry, in the amount of $100.00 to purchase the interest of the City of Paducah in certain property therein be accepted, said property being described as follows: Fronting 42.5 feet on the north side of 14th Street 82.5 feet east of Reed Avenue, extending back northerly 92 feet, and as shown on page 80 of Block Map Book No. 3 in the office of the City Engineer. SECTION 2. Upon payment of the sum of $100.00 to the City Treasurer by the aforesaid Archie Benberry and wife, Doris Benberry, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to them all the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof, and said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title, and shall be subject to any state of facts that might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. �_'a- .
