AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DELTA REFINING COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF RC -2 AND MC -3 LIQUID ASPHALT REQUIRED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH DURING THE YEAR 1966; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID MATERIAL; AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the bid of Deltz Refining Company for the sale to the City of Paducah of all RG -2 and MC -3 liquid asphalt required by the City of Paducah during the year 1966 be accepted, and that the City Manaeer be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into and execute a contract for the purchase upon the order of said Citv all of such asphalt to be used during 1966 at the following prices: RC -2 Liquid asphalt $0.1165 per gallon MC -3 liquid asphalt $0.1140 per gallon Bid price to be f.o.b. 6th and Campbell Streets, Paducah, Kentucky, by railroad insulated tank car and/or transport truck, and delivered to the City of Paducah. Said contract shall also contain all the terms, conditions and specifications contained in a Resolution authorizing the ad- vertisement for bids which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of said City on May 24, 1966. A guarantee shall be provided against advance in the market price and a guarantee shall be provided for reduction in price in the event of a decrease in the market price, and said Company shall post a performance bond in the sum of $2,000.00 puaranteeina, specifications and delivery. Terms of pay- ment shall be net thirty (30) days. SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
