AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CONCRETE, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $7,438.75 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER,TO-EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
CONSTRUCTION; AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH
CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, subject to the
conditions hereinafter set out, accept the bid of Concrete, Inc. in the
amount of $7,438.75 for the construction of Street Improvement
Program for said City, subject to all the terms and conditions con-
tained in the documents on which said bidder based its bid for such
construction, such documents having been prepared as of May 11, 1966
by Edward T. Hannan & Associates, Inc. of Paducah, Kentucky, entitled
"SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STREET IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
FOR THE,CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY".
SECTION 2, Acceptance of the bid of Concrete, Inc. as set out
in Section 1 hereof, shall be conditioned upon the proper execution of
all contract documents by said bidder.
SECTION 3. Upon the approval by the Corporation Counsel of
all bonds and contract documents in connection herewith, the City
Manager of said City is hereby authorized to execute said contract for
and on behalf of said City.
SECTION 4, This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
