AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THREE CONNECTING ALLEYS BETWJEEN LEIBERMAN
STREET AND KOERNER STREET, NORTH OF BRIDGE STREET, IN THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of three connecting alleys between Leiberman
Street and Koerner Street, north of Bridge Street in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of Koerner
Street which point is 131.5 feet north of the
north line of Bridge Street corner to a 14 foot
alley; thence at a right angle in an easterly
direction along the south line of a 14 foot alley
and the rear lines df Lots -23, 24 and 25 of John
Kupke Division a distance of 149 feet to a point
in a 10 foot alley, being the northeast corner
of said Lot 25. Thence in a southerly direction
and along the east line of said Lot 25 a distance
of 32.17 feet to a point at the northwest corner
of Lot 1 Leiberman's Addition; thence in an easterly
direction along the south line of a 13.2 foot alley
and along the north or rear lines of Lots 1, 2 and
3 Leiberman's Addition a distance of 135.5 feet to
the west line of Leiberman Street; thence in a
northerly direction along the west line of Leiberman
Street 13.2 feet to the north line of an alley same
being the southeast corner of Lot 4 Leiberman's
Addition; thence in a westerly direction along the
north line of said 13.2 foot alley, and the south
line of said Lot 4, 130.5 feet to a point at the
southwest corner of said Lot 4; thence in a northerly
direction along the east line of a 10 foot alley
and along the west or rear lines of Lots 4 and 5
Leiberman's Addition a distance of 66 Feet. Thence
at a right angle and in a westerly direction a distance
of 10 feet to the west line of said 10 foot alley
and the east line of Lot 22 John Kupke Division; thence
at a right angle and in a southerly direction along
the west line of said 10 foot alley and along the
east line of said Lot 22 a distance of 32 feet to the
southeast corner of said Lot 22; thence in a westerly
direction along the north line of a 14 foot alley and
the south line of said Lot 22 a distance of 144 feet
to the east line of Koerner Street, same being the
southwest corner of said Lot 22; thence in a southerly
direction along the east line of Koerner Street a
distance of 14 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 94.360, an action in the McCracken
Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alleyways
described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
