AIV ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PRESTON CHEMICAL COMPANY
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF LIQUID GAS CHLORINE AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Preston Chemical Company for
sale to the City of approximately 45 150-1b cylinders of
liquid gas chlorine at $13.39 curt (including Kentucky Sales Tax)
be accepted.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the purchase
of the items set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
